Reviews!
New page this, which is supposed to keep track of all the glowing reviews and endorsements I receive from serious, thoughtful people with real reputations in politics. You know, things like “Definitely in the top ten thousand Political Blogs” - Polly Toynbee”.
In reality, this page is here so that I can justify to myself spending so much time on writing self indulgent, poorly proofread rants for the delectation of a pitifully small audience by pretending that it gives me influence with proper politicians and journalists.
Except of course, I can’t be bothered. it’s a lot of effort scouring the web for the occassional reference to yourself, and I’ve got ungrammatical barely literate broadsides to compose, don’tchaknow?
But lo, this is the age of Web 2.1.b (Service pack 2). Yes, user generated content means I can sit back while you do the hard work. HUzzah!
So if you think this blog is great, useless, needs to have more stuff about biscuits and less about politics or more politics and less about biscuits, post your review here, where I will read it, and steal your ideas if they are good. After all, if it’s good enough for the PM and the leader of the opposition, it’s good enough for me.
(Also, important people. This means you too. I know you read this site every now and then because you tell me so in order to fill awkward silences at parties and social gatherings, so stop being so quiet in the comments pages, kthxbai.)

To paraphrase Brian Clough, A Blog From the Back Room is not necessarily the greatest blog in the how-far-can-we-get-our-tongue-up-Gordon’s-tonsils stakes, but it’s in the Top One. (Luke Akehurst, eat your heart out.)
Seriously, Hopi, it’s in the Top 20 best political blogs in the UK in my view.

I’d defintely turn to Hopi rather than Polly for enlightenment any day.
